Immunity kit

COVID-19 T-CELL IMMUNITY TEST

WHAT IS THIS KIT?

As the COVID-19 pandemic still continues and vaccinations increase, it is important to know who is protected  from COVID-19 and who can still get infected.

Protection against COVID-19 virus, SARS-CoV-2, comes from our antibodies, and from cells, which provide long lasting protection

Whilst there are many tests in the market to measure antibodies for COVID-19, there is no kit to determine the protection provided by cells against  COVID-19. This kit is a simple blood based test to evaluate protection offered by the cells.

HOW DOES THE KIT WORK?

The kit requires a small quantity of your blood, which is then added to specially coated tubes and incubated for a few hours. After incubation, the blood is tested to see whether it contains cells that can protect one from COVID-19

WHAT DOES THE KIT TELL YOU?

It tells you whether you are protected from COVID-19  even if your antibody tests were negative.

It tells you whether the vaccination you have taken has given you long term protection or not even if your antibody tests were negative.

WHO CAN USE IT?

It can be used by anyone who has been exposed/not exposed to COVID-19 and anyone who has/has not been vaccinated, to determine their immune status

It can be used by anyone who has not developed antibody response to COVID-19, to determine whether they have developed cell mediated protection.

It can be used by vaccine companies to assess their vaccine efficiency and to pick volunteers for testing their new vaccines.

It can be used by hospitals, diagnostic centres, physicians and the government to screen large number of people to determine their COVID-19 immune status.

It can be used by individuals who have other co-morbidities to understand their protection level post vaccination.
